Bhubaneswar: Two shops were gutted after a major fire broke out at NM Market Complex near Ravi Talkies here on Friday.
On being informed, fire personnel rushed to the spot and doused the flames.
There were no report of injury or casualty in the mishap. However, property and stocks worth several lakhs of rupees were reportedly reduced to ashes.
Though the exact reason behind the mishap is yet to be ascertained, fire personnel suspect an electrical short circuit might have triggered the fire.
