Sundargarh: Two Shramik Special trains carrying 73 passengers from Bengaluru in Karnataka and Madgaon in Goa arrived at Rourkela railway station on Saturday.
While the train arrived from Bangalore carrying 64 passengers arrived at 3.30 am, the train from Madgaon with nine passengers reached at around 8.15 am.
Out of the passengers who came in two trains, 36 were from Jharkhand, three from Mayurbhanj district and 34 from Sundargarh district. Health screening of all the passengers was done after they deboarded the train.
The officials of Rourkela Municipal Corporation and District Administration provided them food, water and other basic things. The officials also made arrangement for their safe journey to own places.
