Nabarangpur: Two sisters met water grave while taking bath in a pond at Kumudaguda village under Jharigaon block in Nabarangpur district on Monday.
They were identified as Champa Santa (8) and Nila Santa (10).
According to available information, the mishap took place when the sisters slipped into deep waters while taking bath in the village pond.
On being informed, police rushed to the spot and fished out the bodies from the water body with the help of locals.
A case of unnatural death has been registered.
