Two Students Critical As Odisha Minister’s Escort Vehicle Hits Bike In Nuapada

Nuapada: Two college students sustained critical injuries after the motorcycle they were riding on was hit by the escort vehicle of an Odisha Minister in Nuapada district on Saturday.

The mishap took place at Gotama Chhak under the jurisdiction of Jonk police station when the Planning and Convergence Minister Rajendra Dholakia’s escort vehicle was on the way to pick him up from Khariar Road.

According to reports, the two students were proceeding on their bike towards thieir college when the vehicle dashed against their two-wheeler, leaving them critically injured.

They were rushed to the district headquarters hospital at Nuapada and later shifted to Veer Surendra Sai Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (VIMSAR) as their condition deteriorated.
