Bhubaneswar: Two more persons succumbed to swine flu, taking the death toll to 50 in the state this season. The deaths of a 58-year-old man and another 54-year-old man were reported from Care Hospital and SUM Hospital respectively in the state capital.
On the other hand, one of 19 swabs sent to Regional Medical Research Centre tested positive for the H1N1 virus. The patient, a 13-month-old male child from Jharsuguda, is undergoing treatment at KIIMS here.
So far 1284 samples have been tested and 386 found infected with the viral influenza.
