Koraput: Two teenaged boys drowned while bathing in Hanjariguda river at Semiliguda in Koraput district on Monday.
The deceased were identified as Subhranshu Dalai (16), a resident of Kumunda village in Nayagarh district, and Ashis Behera (13), who hailed from Rourkela.
According to sources, they had gone to Semiliguda to attend a marriage party.
The mishap took place when they were bathing in the river. Locals immediately dragged the boys out and took them to a hospital. But doctors declared them brought dead.
