Jharsuguda: Two more COVID positive cases were cobfirmed in Jharsuguda town on Saturday.
According to official sources, a one-year-old girl, whose brother tested positive on Friday, belonging to Mangal Bazaar, Jharsuguda, is carrying coronavirus. The family returned from Agra to their house in Mangal Bazaar on May 16. After they both tested corona positive, all family members have been kept under home quarantine for 28 days, said an officer.
A 40-year-old male has also tested positive for the deadly virus. He has a travel history to Maharashtra and is institutionally quarantined at TMC in DAV School, Brajragnagar.
Following this, a small part of Mangal Bazaar and the TMC at DAV School, Hill Top, Brajarajnagar were declared as containment zones. There may be little inconvenience for few resident families of Mangal Bazaar, said Jharsuguda Collector Saroj Samal.
