Sambalpur: The Odisha Vigilance on Tuesday carried out simultaneous raids on two officials of Veer Surendra Sai Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (VIMSAR), Burla, over allegations of possessing assets disproportionate to their known sources of income.

t properties linked to Establishment Officer-cum-Office Superintendent Dhanurdhar Biswal and Steward Aswini Meher across Sambalpur and Baragada districts, including their residences, offices and official quarters, on the strength of search warrants issued bySpecial Judge, Vigilance, Sambalpur.
Raids underway at 4 places in Sambalpur district:
1.Residential double-storey building of Biswal at Dhankauda, Sambalpur.
2.One building at Gudesinga, Sambalpur.
3.Govt quarters at Medical Staff Colony, VIMSAR, Burla.
4. Office chamber of Biswal at VIMSAR, Burla.
Five places in Sambalpur and Baragada districts:
1. Govt quarters of Meher at Medical Staff Colony, VIMSAR, Burla, Sambalpur.
2. A four-storey building udner construction at Saurav Vihar, Burla Sambalpur.
3. One building at Pathanbandh, Burla.
4. One building at Govindpalli, Baragada.
5.Office chamber of Aswini Meher at VIMSAR, Burla.
