Two Women Killed In Jumbo Attack In Odisha’s Dhenakanal

Dhenakanal: Two women were killed in wild elephant attack in Bhagua Sahi under Hindol area of Dhenkanal district.

The incident took place when the two women had gone to the forest to collect mahua flowers near Baghua Sahi. They fell victim to jumbo attack inside the forest.

Both the women died in the spot following the attack and their bodies were recovered after being spotted by locals.

The deceased women have been identified as Putu Samal and Agari Majhi of Dudurupada village.

On being informed, forest department officials from Hindol rushed to the site and launched an investigation into the incident. Further details are awaited.
