Deogarh: Police have arrested two youths for allegedly committing rape of a minor girl in the district on Thursday night.
According to police sources, while the girl belonging to a village under Riamal police station was returning home from a tuition class at around 7 pm, two youths intercepted her. They took her to nearby Kankarkhol forest and committed the crime. They were identified as Subham Badi and Chinmay Ranjan Badi of Kankarkhol.
On returning home, the girl told about the incident to her family who filed complaint at Riamal police station. After registering a case, the police arrested Subham and Chinmay. Further investigation is on.
