Bhubaneswar: Two youths were found dead under mysterious circumstances inside a house at Punjabi Colony under Kharavela Nagar police limits in Bhubaneswar on Friday morning.
According to sources, the youths, who worked at ‘Mo Pitha’ food outlet, went to sleep last night after making preparations for a big order. They, however, did not respond to repeated knocks on the door by the owner this morning. His son then entered the room through a backdoor and found the two lying still on the floor. Following which, they were taken to Capital Hospital in an ambulance but were declared dead by the doctors there.
Police have sent the bodies for postmortem and started an investigation to ascertain the circumstances leading to their death.
Earlier in the day, a man was found hanging at a cooking gas shop in Atala area, on the outskirts of city.
The deceased was identified as Bhalua of Chhabaranga in Bhadrak district.
He was found hanging with a gamcha tied around his neck with feet were touching the ground, raising suspicion of murder.
Pahal police have recovered the body and launched an investigation into the matter.
