U18 Girls Shot Put: Anshika Routray Sets New Odisha Record With 11.75-Metre Throw

Bhubaneswar: Anshika Routray bagged the first position in shot put throw in girls under 18 category with a new state record of 11.75 metres in the 68th Odisha State Athletic Meet on Monday.

Deepa Singh of Mayurbhanj bagged the second position with a throw of 10.13 metres. Jyoshna P Sahoo from Jagatsinghpur came third with a throw of 9.91 metres.

Anshika also bagged the second position in discus throw. She is the brand ambassador of Sai International School.

The athletic meet is being held at KIIT n KISS Athletics Stadium from April 8 to 11.
