Utkal Alumina International Ltd (UAIL) has been felicitated with Mahatma Award for excellence in the field of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
Head CSR, Hindalco, Bipul Chatterjee, Asst. Manager (CSR) Gajendra Naik and Asst. Manager (CSR) Kartikeswar Sahoo received the award from Rajashree Birla at a function organized to commemorate the 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi on Tuesday.
Utkal Alumina has been implementing a gamut of CSR projects in the remote blocks of Kashipur in Rayagada district and T. Rampur in Kalahandi district.
