UG, PG Admission Timeline Extended In Odisha Due To Rain Fury

Bhubaneswar: As Odisha was battered by heavy downpour over the last few days, the state government has has extended the last date for reporting of applicants and admission updation for UG and PG courses till August 5.

The department of Higher Education has extended the timeline for second round selection for UG and first round selection) for PG courses, sources said on Thursday in view of the rough weather.

Details of the extended timeline for admission to UG and PG courses in the state are given below:

UG Admission –

  1. i) Selection of Slide/ Freeze/ Float Option and Online payment of admission fees by the selected students through SAMS portal is allowed till August 4, 2023, 11.45 pm (Friday).
  2. ii) Reporting of applicants at allotted institutions for taking admission (for Second Round Selection) is till August 5, 5.00 pm (Saturday).

iii) Data updation of the admitted students in the e-space by the respective Institutions (for Second Round Admission) will be allowed till August 5 , 7 pm(Saturday).

PG Admission –

  1. i) Selection of Slide/ Freeze/ Float Option and Online payment of admission fees by the selected students through SAMS portal will be allowed till August 4, 2023, 11.45 pm (Friday).
  2. ii) Reporting of applicants at allotted institutions for taking admission (for First Round Selection) is till August 5, 5 pm (Saturday).
