New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Saturday released the schedule for the University Grants Commission – National Eligibility Test (UGC-NET) June 2024 exam.
The exam will be conducted on June 18 in two shifts– 9.30 am to 12.30 pm, and 3 pm to 6 pm.
UGC-NET, conducted in June and December every year, will be held this month for 83 subjects in OMR (Pen and Paper) mode.

Notification on intimation of exam centre city will be displayed 10 days prior to the exam on NTA websites — https://ugcnet.nta.ac.in and www.nta.ac.in.
UGC-NET is a crucial examination that is conducted for the award of Junior Research Fellowship, appointment as Assistant Professor and admission to PhD programmes in Indian universities and colleges.
Aggregate performance of a candidate in Paper I and Paper II of UGC-NET is taken into consideration for awarding of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and/or eligibility for Assistant Professorship.
Those who qualify only for Assistant Professorship are not eligible to be considered for award of JRF.
