Ukrainian Actress Oksana Shvets Killed In Russian Shelling

Kyiv: Ukrainian actress Oksana Shvets (67) was killed in a Russian rocket attack on a residential building in Kyiv.

“During the rocket shelling of a residential building in Kyiv, well-deserved artist of Ukraine Oksana Shvets was killed,” the Young Theater said on Facebook. “Bright memory to the talented actress! There is no forgiveness for the enemy that has come to our land!”

The Kyiv Post also reported about Shvets’ death on its Twitter account.

“The actress of the Young Theatre Oksana Shvets has been murdered in Kyiv during the war,” it said.

Shvets was one of Ukraine’s greatest performers and was awarded its highest artistic achievement “Honored Artist of Ukraine”.
