Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government will grant Special Casual Leave to its employees to exercise their franchise in the elections to Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) on March 24.
Employees desirous of exercising their franchisee at places away from their headquarters will be allowed Special Casual Leave for maximum three days — day preceding the polls, polling day and day after the polls.
The state Revenue and Disaster Management Department issued an order in this regard on Thursday.
Elections to three municipal corporations and 106 municipalities/NACs will be held on March 24.
