Cuttack: The bail plea of Uliburu mining scam prime accused, Deepak Gupta was rejected by Orissa High Court on Wednesday.
Deepak Gupta is the prime accused in the Rs 1,800 crore mining scam of September 2013.
State vigilance officials arrested him on September 4, 2013, for his alleged involvement in the mining scam at Uliburu in Keonjhar.
A chargesheet had been filed against 29 persons, out of whom nine persons, including the family members of Deepak had managed to obtain advance bail from the Orissa High Court.
