Hyderabad: Two construction workers were killed and at least 10 others injured on Monday after an under-construction indoor stadium collapsed at Moinabad in Telangana’s Ranga Reddy district.
According to locals, the mishap occurred when one of the walls gave way, leading to a portion of the stadium crashing.
“One body was recovered and authorities are trying to recover another body from under the debris,” said Rajendernagar DCP Jagdeeshwar Reddy.
One of the deceased is from West Bengal, the other from Bihar.
The injured persons have been rushed to a local hospital for treatment.
Rescue operations are underway, the DCP added.
