Bhadrak: An unemployed village girl from Odisha’s Bhadrak district is now an inspiration for the youth. She has emerged as one of the most popular and successful YouTubers in the state.
Arpita Priyadarshini, from Tarago village under Bonth block of Bhadrak, completed her Certificate course in teaching (CT), but didn’t get a job. Following several rejections and months of despair, she started a YouTube channel in 2018.
Her channel ‘Craft Gallery’ has over 5.3 lakh subscribers now, and she earns more than Rs 1 lakh per month by uploading videos.
Her speciality is a wide range of craft work, which she makes out of waste materials like ice cream sticks, plastic spoons and newspapers. She uploads videos of her work on ‘Craft Gallery’, which are a huge hit.
“After completing my CT, I didn’t get a job, so my brother suggested that I should upload my craft videos on YouTube,” Arpita informed.
“If you fail to crack government jobs and have talent, then join YouTube,” she advised.
