Bhubaneswar: Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman arrived in Bhubaneswar on a two-day visit to Odisha on Thursday evening.
Sitharaman was received by Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, state BJP president Samir Mohanty and other prominent leaders of the party at Biju Patnaik International Airport in Bhubaneswar.
The Finance Minister is scheduled to attend a post-Budget discussion at a hotel in Bhubaneswar on Friday morning. Then she will speak at a press conference on the Union Budget 2023-24 in the city at 11.30 am.
From the press meet, Sitharaman will proceed to IIT at Arugul in Khurda and interact with the students before flying back to New Delhi.
