Bhubaneswar: Union Information & Broadcasting and Sports Minister Anurag Thakur is scheduled to undertake a visit to Odisha on Tuesday to attend several programmes in the state.
Soon after his arrival at the Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) in Bhubaneswr at 9.05 am tomorrow, the Minister will proceed to the state headquarters of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the city. He is slated to address a press conference in the party office.
Thereafter, Thakur will attend ‘Meri Maati Mera Desh’ programme being organised by the Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan (NYKS) at 11 am at Utkal University in the state capital, an official release said on Monday.
In the afternoon, the Union Minister is slated to attend an event to be held at 3 pm on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of Odia daily newspaper ‘Sambad’ in Bhubaneswar as chief guest.
Thereafter, Thakur will attend the centenary celebration of the first publication of Odia daily newspaper ‘Prajatantra’ at 5.15 pm in the evening. The Minister is scheduled to return to New Delhi tomorrow evening.
