New Delhi: Union Minister of State for Chemical and Fertilizers Mansukh Mandaviya has assured of uninterrupted supply of urea to the farmers of Odisha during the current kharif season.
Union Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan in a series of tweets said he talked to Mandaviya regarding the issue of shortage of urea fertiliser in Odisha as pointed out by former MP of Nabarangpur Balbhadra Majhi.
The Union Fertilizers Minister has assured that the Centre is committed to uninterrupted supply of fertilizers to the nook and corner of Odisha.
Earlier, Majhi had drawn the attention of the Centre to the scarcity of the fertilizer faced by the farmers during the ensuing kharif season.
