Bhubaneswar: As part of national Rozgar Mela, Union Minister of Education and Skill Development & Entrepreneurship Dharmendra Pradhan distributed 172 appointment letters to new recruits at an event in Bhubaneswar on Saturday.
Pradhan distributed the appointment letters physically to the newly inducted recruits in Bhubaneswar while Union Minister of State for Tribal Affairs and Jal Shakti Bishweswar Tudu distributed 114 appointment letters in Cuttack in presence of MP Bhartruhari Mahatab.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi distributed about 51,000 appointment letters to the newly inducted recruits during the event held at 39 different locations across the country through video-conferencing.
The Rozgar Mela is a step towards the prime minister’s commitment to accord highest priority to employment generation. It is expected to act as a catalyst in further employment generation and provide meaningful opportunities to the youth for their empowerment and participation in national development.
The new recruits will join various posts in different ministries under the Union Government. The newly inducted appointees will also get an opportunity to train themselves through Karmayogi Prarambh, which is an online orientation course for all new appointees in various government departments.
