Bhubaneswar: Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has expressed his happiness over the reopening of Jagannath Temple in Odisha’s Puri in a tweet on Monday. The temple will reopen for devotees from December 23 with some riders in view of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Minister has welcomed the decision of Chhatisa Nijog and Srimandir Administration which has been taken keeping the sentiments of people of Odisha in mind.
The Minister also appealed to the devotees visiting the temple to adopt safety measures by adhering to the COVID-19 guidelines as well as the protocols drawn by the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA).
