Srinagar: Kiren Rijiju had a close shave in a road accident on Saturday.
The Union Law minister’s car was hit by a fully loaded truck on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway in Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir.
“Today, while going from Jammu to Srinagar by road, Union Minister for Law and Justice Kiran Rijiju’s car met with a minor accident. No one was injured in the accident. Kiren Rijiju was driven safely to his destination,” Ramban Police said in a statement.
A video of the incident showed securitypersons rushing to open the doors of the black Scorpio and getting people out.
