Bhubaneswar: Union Minister of Ports, Shipping and Waterways and AYUSH Sarbanand Sonowal arrived in Bhubaneswar on Sunday.
Sonowal, who is on a two-day visit to Odisha, is scheduled to visit Paradip Port in Jagatsinghpur district to inaugurate various facilities there. He will also lay the foundation stone of different projects during the visit to the port.
Later, Sonowal will hold a meeting with the officials of Paradip Port and the district administration to review the functions of the port and the progress of different projects.
The visit comes two days after Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw visited Malkangiri and Koraput and reviewed various rail projects. Several other Union Ministers have also visited the state in the recent past.
