New Delhi: Union Ministers Dharmendra Pradhan and Ashwini Vaishnaw participated and sought the blessings of Lord Jagannath at the Hauz Khas Jagannath temple on the occasion of Rath Yatra in the national capital.
The Yatra was organised by Nilachal Seva Sangha and a colorfully decorated chariot was also pulled for a distance of 500 metres.
Pradhan visited the temple with family and offered prayers. He said “The revered Rath Yatra is not just a festival, it is a transcendental experience that binds us together.”
Speaking on the occasion, Vaishnaw said “Blessings of Lord Jagannath has given me the opportunity to serve the nation. Will sincerely work for the welfare of the poor and underprivileged for building a stronger India. Greetings to the people of Odisha on this auspicious day.”
