According to Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation, the decision to close the market was taken to avoid congestion during the NEET-UG examination at Mother’s Public School in the locality on that day, keeping in view the COVID-19 situation.
Both wholesale and retail market will remain closed during this period, it added.
