Bhubaneswar: The universities should improve education by applying
reforms and other strategies, said Odisha Governor and Chancellor of
State Universities Dr SC Jamir on Monday.
Jamir was attending the conference of Vice Chancellors (VCs) here.
During the conference, the Governor advised the VCs to ensure smooth
management of the universities.
Stressing on the need to stop political influences on universities,
the Governor said that a healthy competition of between the
universities should be ensured.
The meeting was also attended by Finance Minister Sashi Bhusan Behera.
