Bhubaneswar: The state government has advised that persons above 65 years of age, those with co-morbidities, pregnant women and children below 10 should stay at home except for essential and health purposes during the lockdown period.
Chief Secretary AK Tripathy issued the advisory on Monday as these groups are more vulnerable to being infected with COVID-19.
Tripathy also stressed on adherence to social distancing guidelines to prevent community transmission of the virus.
The fifth phase of the lockdown will continue till June 30.
