Unlocking Odisha: New Vehicle Registration To Begin From Tomorrow

Bhubaneswar: With Odisha Government relaxing lockdown restrictions from June 17, the State Transport Authority (STA) has allowed registration of new vehicles in RTOs across the state..

Automobile showrooms too will reopen from tomorrow.

The STA Chairman in a letter to all Regional Transport Officers (RTOs) permitted registration of new vehicles by dealers throughout the state on VAHAN portal from June 17.

The decision has been taken after the government allowed sale and service of automobiles as part of the partial lockdown process and said cycle and automobile shops will also be allowed to open.

The partial lockdown will remain in force from 5 am of June 17 to 5 am of July 1.
