Bhubaneswar: A man and woman were found hanging in a house in Bhubaneswar on Monday.
As per reports, the unmarried couple, whose identity has not been established, was staying in the house in Cluster-3 of Sikharchandi Nagar under Infocity police limits. They were suspected to be lovers.
In the morning, a local person saw them hanging from ceiling fan of a room of their house through a window which was open. He alerted others of the locality and informed the police.
A team from Infocity police station went to the spot and entered the house after breaking open the main door which was locked from inside. They sent the bodies for post-mortem.
The police have registered a case of unnatural death and started investigation. But, they could not ascertain their identities from preliminary investigation.
