New Delhi: In what can be described as the mother of all shocks, a child in Uttar Pradesh’s Etah tested HIV positive.
How did it happen?
The girl’s family alleged that doctors at Rani Avanti Bai Lodhi Government Medical College used the same syringe on several other patients who were admitted for various illnesses.
The child’s parents met the District Magistrate after she was forced to leave the hospital following the HIV diagnosis.
