Paradip: Police on Thursday detained a youth of Uttar Pradesh for allegedly trespassing into the premises of the Indian Coast Guard office.
According to sources, the security personnel detained a youth who was moving suspiciously inside the campus in the morning and informed Paradip police station. Following information, police rushed to the office and took the youth to the police station for interrogation. More than 20 pen drives were seized from his possession.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the youth, identified as Mohammad Shahbaaz of Muzaffarpur district of Uttar Pradesh, had come to Paradip to sell the winter jackets.
