Upcoming Features On WhatsApp Include Expiring Media Like Telegram

Bengaluru: WhatsApp is reportedly working on adding a lot of new features. These features are already available on some beta versions, and here is the list:

Multi-device support
Currently, WhatsApp works on one mobile device and one computer as WhatsApp Web. The new feature will let WhatsApp users log in on four devices at a time with the same account.

Expiring Media
Like Telegram, media files like images, videos and GIFs can be deleted once the receipt leaves the chat window.

Customizable Wallpapers
Wallpapers can be customised for different users in the following update.

Vacation mode
This would help users mute notifications from archived chats. There will be options like ‘Notify New Messages’ and ‘Auto Hide’ inactive chats.

Advanced Search Mode
WhatsApp will now let you search for media files like images, videos and more.
