Updated Renault Kwid To Be Launched Next Month

Renault is readying a heavily updated version of its entry-level hatchback – Kwid. The refreshed Kwid will have new styling elements from Kwid KZE electric car and also safety upgrades.

It will also get LED inserts in the tail-light, such as split headlights, and LED DRLs near the grille.

The new Kwid will have structural upgrades for the upcoming crash test norms.

The dashboard will get new full-digital instrument cluster from the soon-to-be Triber MPV. The car will have a redesigned AC vents for better air flow. It will also get a 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The same 0.8-litre and 1.0-litre engines are expected to be carried forward, and will receive BS6 upgrades next year. The 5-speed manual and 5-speed AMT gearboxes will be carried over.
