New Delhi: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on Tuesday declared Civil Service Exam (CSE) result 2023.
While Aditya Srivastava and Animesh Pradhan have scored AIR 1 and 2 respectively, Donuru Ananya Reddy has secured the third rank. Unlike recent years, this year, women’s share in the UPSC pie has diminished.
A total number of 1,016 candidates, including 347 general, 115 EWS, 303 OBC, 165 SC and 36 from ST categories, have been recommended for appointment. UPSC has released the roll numbers of candidates who have qualified the exam. The candidature of 355 recommended candidates has been kept provisional.
Candidates who appeared for the interview can check their results at the official websites – upsconline.nic.in and upsc.gov.in.
The Civil Services main examination was held in subjective mode from September 15 to 24 and the interviews for personality tests were held from January-April 2024.
According to a UPSC release, appointments to the various services will be made according to the number of vacancies available with due consideration to the provisions contained in rules for examination. The vacancies are:
