Bhubaneswar: The campaigning for urban polls has reached its zenith and the fates of the candidates will be sealed on March 24. In the run-up to the election day, Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) has released final voter list for the capital city.
According to the list, a total of 7,25,765 eligible persons will exercise their franchise in 67 wards. A total of 705 booths will be opened in the city for the elections. Of the total voters, 440 belong to ‘others’ category.
One can check for details in the list which is available at all ward offices, BMC office and Office of the ADM, Bhubaneswar.
The BMC has also released an online option to check your name and other details in the list; To check online, follow these steps:
Vist www.bmc.gov.in, select ‘BMC Voter List’ option on the right corner, enter your name and Part No. (Booth No.) or enter EPIC No. After that enter captcha and select ‘Search’ button.
After filling in the details you will get details like your name, booth name and number and section number.
