New Delhi: An Indian national was killed following Iran’s latest attack in Saudi Arabia on Sunday.
A projectile fell on a residential location in Saudi Arabia’s Al-Kharj city, killing two people and injuring 12.
The victims were of Indian and Bangladeshi nationalities, Saudi Civil Defence added in a post on X. The injured were all Bangladesh
i residents.
Earlier in the day, Iran’s Revolutionary Guards said that they had targeted radar systems in multiple locations including Saudi Arabia’s Al-Kharj.
The identity of the two victims have not yet been identified by Saudi authorities.
Saudi Arabia reiterated that Iran’s attempts to target civilian facilities constitute a blatant violation of international humanitarian law.
Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian apologised to Gulf nations for being targeted in retaliatory attacks after joint US-Israeli strikes killed Ayatollah Ali Khamenei on February 28.
As Donald Trump claimed victory, saying Iran had surrendered, Pezeshkian clarified that he had said the army won’t attack any nation unless it was extending help to the US.
