Bhubaneswar: Utilisation certificates for more than Rs 1,000 crore pertaining to various schemes of Higher Education Department from 2003-2004 are pending submission.
In the letter, Principal Secretary Saswat Mishra termed it as ‘very alarming’ and directed all branch officers of Higher Education department, registrars of all State Public Universities, principals of government and non-government colleges, finance officer, OSHEC to ensure submission of Utilisation Certificates to FA-cum-Additional Secretary, Higher Education Department in the prescribed format.
In case of failure to do so, financial concurrence for sanction of further grants shall not be accorded by the FA-cum-Additional Secretary, the letter stated.
