Utkal Varsity VC Given Additional Charge Of OUAT

Bhubaneswar: Vice-chancellor of Utkal University Prof Soumendra Mohan Patnaik was given additional charge of Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology (OUAT) after the incumbent VC,  Prof .Surendra Nath Pasupalak, went on leave on Thursday evening over graft charges.

OUAT VC Refuses To Go On Leave

“I have been given the charge as the in-charge VC of OUAT. I will take charge of my new assignment very soon and involve myself in the developmental work of the university,” Patnaik told the media here.

He will discharge his administrative duty and attend the meetings and conferences of OUAT at regular intervals. He will remain the in-charge VC of OUAT till the appointment of a new VC, said a Raj Bhawan communiqué.
