Koraput: The stock of COVID-19 vaccines in Koraput district has been exhausted, leading to the vaccination drive being stalled for the moment.
The Chief District Medical and Public Health Officer (Koraput), Makarand Beaura, informed that the vaccination drive had to be suspended across 89 centres in the tribal-dominated district on Wednesday.
“We were administering the vaccine to as many as 6,500 persons per day. But as we have run out of stock, the vaccination drive has been temporarily stopped,” Beaura was quoted as saying by The Times of India.
