Bhubaneswar: There will be no vaccination drive against COVID-19 in nine districts on Thursday due to the acute shortage of vaccines in Odisha.
The Health and Family Welfare Department informed that the nine districts are Balangir, Boudh, Bargarh, Gajapati, Jharsuguda, Keonjhar, Koraput, Nabarangpur and Sonepur.
At present, Odisha has a stock of 1,04,070 doses of Covishield and 3,00,180 doses of Covaxin for the people above 45 years who are scheduled to take the second dose. There are 1,20,380 doses of Covaxin for those in the 18-44 age group, the department said.
