Vaccine Shortage: Covishield Jabs For 18-44 Age Group In Bhubaneswar?

Bhubaneswar: Amid a shortage of Covaxin for the 18-44 age group, the Odisha government is reportedly contemplating diverting Covishield for inoculating denizens of the Odisha capital.

Director of Health and Family Welfare Bijay Panigrahi informed that the available Covaxin doses are just enough for giving the second jab to those who have been vaccinated with the first, for the next two weeks. “Covishield option may be used for those who have not taken any doses,” he told the TOI.
