Bhubaneswar: Following a shortage in Covishield vaccines, no sessions have been planned for 11 districts in Odisha on Wednesday.
The Health and Family Welfare department informed that the vaccination campaign will be discontinued in Angul, Balangir, Balasore, Bhadrak, Dhenkanal, Ganjam, Jajpur, Jharsuguda, Kendrapara, Koraput and Sonepur.
Vaccines will be administered at 210 sites, the lowest since June 21, and 68 among them are in Bhubaneswar.
The state has 38,380 doses of the Covishield vaccine in stock and the next allocation is expected on July 2. A total of 3,51,220 doses of Covaxin are available, the department added.
