Bhubaneswar: Even as the third-phase of COVID-19 vaccination is underway in Odisha, the drive was suspended in 11 out of 30 districts on Tuesday due to acute shortage of vaccines.
The Health and Family Welfare Department said there will be no vaccination in Balasore, Bargarh, Boudh, Cuttack, Gajapati, Jagatsinghpur, Kandhamal, Koraput, Nabarangpur, Sonepur and Sambalpur districts.
Overall in Odisha, out of the 1500 session sites, vaccination is underway in only 123 sites including 26 in Bhubaneswar on Tuesday.
The state has a stock of 19,900 doses of Covishield and 3,15,530 doses of Covaxin.
A total of 59,04,314 people have been vaccinated so far.
