Bhubaneswar: Vedanta Limited, Lanjigarh, producer of smelter grade alumina and a unit of Vedanta Aluminium, conducted a comprehensive multi-speciality health camp and a blood donation drive in several remote villages of Kalahandi district. The campaign culminated with a major multi-speciality health camp and blood donation drive at Vedanta Hospital.
People got free health check-ups and had one-on-one consultations with specialists in general medicine, paediatrics, gynaecology, ophthalmology, and dentistry providing preventive screenings and curative guidance.
The campaign closely aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of ‘Good Health & Well-being (SDG 3) and ‘Forging Partnerships to Achieve Common Goals’ (SDG 17), which aims to make a positive impact and construct a healthier future for all.
