Bhubaneswar: A car, carrying a groom, his bride and other family members, crashed into a tree in Odisha’s Sonepur district on Monday morning.
All six travelling in the vehicle sustained grievous injuries. The condition of the bride and the groom is stated to be critical, They were initially admitted to district headquarters hospital and later shifted to VIMSAR, Burla, sources said.
The wedding had taken place last night and the accident occurred while the bride was her way to her in-law’s place with groom and his family members. It is being suspected that the driver might have dosed off, leading to the crash.
