Bhubaneswar: In a bid to streamline traffic movement in Odisha capital, the Commissionerate Police has decided to tightened the noose around those violating vehicle parking rules.
Wheel jammers will be used on such vehicles and a fine of Rs 500 imposed on violators.
On day one, vehicles parked illegally near Lok Seva Bhawan, SBI Main Branch and RBI office here will face the music.
“Randaom parking of vehicle hamper traffic movement in the city. To put a stop to this practice, we have decided to fine the violators,” said Additional DCP (Traffic) Amaresh Panda.
